Use and safe operation of hydraulic press

Uses of hydraulic presses:

It is widely used in the processing of spare parts in the automotive industry and the shaping, edge punching, correction and shoemaking, handbag, rubber, mold, shaft, shaft sleeve parts pressing, imprinting, bending, imprinting, sleeve stretching and other processes in various industries, washing machines, motors, automobile motors, air conditioning motors, micro motors, servo motors, wheel manufacturing, shock absorbers, motorcycles and machinery industries.

Safe operation of hydraulic press:

1. The operator of the hydraulic press must be trained to master the equipment performance and operating technology before operating independently.

2. Before operation, you should clean up all kinds of debris on the mold and wipe any dirt on the hydraulic rod.

3. The hydraulic press installation mold must be carried out under power outage. It is prohibited to bump into the start button, handle and pedal on the foot switch.

4. Install the upper and lower molds in aligned manner, adjust the mold gap, and do not allow one side to deviate from the center. After confirming that the mold is fixed, try the pressure.

5. Before working, start the equipment and idling for 5 minutes. At the same time, check whether the oil level of the oil tank is sufficient, whether the sound of the oil pump is normal, and whether the hydraulic unit, pipeline, connector, and piston are leaked.

6. Start the pressure test of the equipment to check whether the pressure reaches the working pressure, whether the equipment is operating normally and reliable, and whether there is any leakage.

7. Adjust the working pressure, but it should not exceed 90% of the rated pressure of the equipment. Test a piece of workpiece and then produce it after passing the inspection.

8. For different hydraulic press profiles and workpieces, when pressing and calibrating, the working pressure, pressure application and pressure holding times and time of the press should be adjusted at any time, and the mold and workpiece should not be damaged.

9. When the body press plate slides up and down, it is strictly forbidden to extend the hands and head into the press plate and mold working parts.

10. It is strictly forbidden to knock, stretch, weld, bending, twist the workpiece while applying pressure.

11. No smoking, welding, or fire are allowed around the hydraulic press, and flammable or explosive items shall be stored. Take good fire prevention measures.

12. After the hydraulic press is completed, the power supply should be cut off, the hydraulic rod of the press should be wiped clean, lubricating oil should be added, the molds and workpieces should be cleaned, and the arrangement should be neatly placed.
