With the rise of 'Made in China', the market demand for hydraulic presses has increased rapidly. Bada Machine was born in such a major era. In 1986, the company invested nearly 150 million Hong Kong dollars to build a modern factory of more than 30,000 square meters in Banfu Town and began to specialize in the production of hydraulic presses. However, after the global financial crisis in 2008, many domestic industries experienced overcapacity problems, and the demand for hydraulic machines by enterprises decreased. In addition, there is a large technological gap between domestic hydraulic machines and Western countries, especially Germany. The fierce market competition has put a large number of mechanical equipment manufacturing companies, including Bada Machinery, in trouble.
In 2011, the Bada Machinery R&D team devoted themselves to the development and design of new products. After several years of hard work, they finally upgraded from the field of traditional small hydraulic presses to the field of ultra-high pressure large hydraulic presses and intelligent production lines, forming conventional and non-standard machine production modules such as precision servo hydraulic presses, automated factory solution modules, and ultra-large prestressed steel wire wound ultra-high pressure hydraulic presses. They focused on the development of PTR series wire wound ultra-high pressure large hydraulic presses, YSM series precision servo hydraulic presses, and optimized professional hydraulic press automation production lines, intelligent industrial robot connections and factory solutions.
The YSM series precision servo hydraulic press produced by the company was put on the market in 2011, which can improve production efficiency by about 20-30% for users, save energy by more than 30%, and servo CNC hydraulic presses can save energy by 52%. In recent years, it has been widely used in domestic precision manufacturing in home appliance manufacturing, automobile and motorcycle accessories, aerospace and other industries, especially in the 'machine replacement' technical transformation tide in Zhongshan manufacturing started in the second half of 2014, which has achieved the goal of reducing staff and increasing efficiency for a large number of Zhongshan enterprises.

Yan Changrong said that the largest hydraulic press that the company has produced and delivered to use is 5,000-ton hydraulic press, but the company's maximum design production capacity has reached 20,000-ton. Currently, there are no more than 10 machinery manufacturing companies in China that can produce 10,000 tons of hydraulic presses, no more than 3 in Guangdong Province, and only Bada Machinery is one in Zhongshan. The company's comprehensive strength has entered the top five companies in the same industry in Guangdong Province, with an average annual sales of 300 machines, and the product pass rate is 100%.
By the end of December 2015, Bada Machinery had received nearly RMB 40 million in 2016; it is estimated that by the end of 2016, the sales revenue of the ultra-large prestressed wire-wrapped ultra-high pressure hydraulic press alone will reach RMB 50 million. However, the current R&D, design and production capacity of Bada Machinery can no longer keep up with the requirements of order volume. 'This forces us not only to help others improve their skills, but also to improve our own skills,' said Yan Changrong.
In April 2015, Bada Machinery officially launched the 'Technical Transformation Project for Capital Increase and Expansion of Ultra-High Pressure Large Hydraulic Machinery and Automation Equipment' with a total investment of 13.8 million yuan, of which 10 million yuan is used for equipment and technology investment, and the construction period is from April 2015 to June 2017. The entire technical transformation project is served as chief engineer by Li Weibing, former senior engineer of Shenyang Chongzhun Hydraulic Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and currently deputy director and technical manager of Zhongshan Bada Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
Li Weibing told reporters that hydraulic press design is a typical multidisciplinary coupled design. At present, the project has participated in the research and development experts who have developed the first hydraulic press and witnessed the development of the hydraulic press. There are senior experts who have witnessed and participated in the research and development and manufacturing of various generations and various types of heavy hydraulic presses in China, and there are also a new generation of young innovation experts who have developed the first multi-axis CNC hydraulic press in China.
Yan Changrong admitted that after the completion of the project, Bada Machinery will be able to design and produce ultra-high pressure extra-large hydraulic presses with oil pressure of 20,000 tons or above, machine weight of about 200 tons, and single-piece weight of about 80 tons; it can increase the annual output value by nearly 30-50 million yuan.
